In addition to the design and installation of cabinetry, Heirloom Woodcraft offers CAD design services to contractors, interior designers and homeowners.
As part of our design process we generate 3D renderings which model part or all of a room, or an exterior setting. These drawings are always extremely helpful in the design process as they enable everyone involved to accurately visualize the proposed designs, and make any changes, until the exact look is achieved. All of this is done in a virtual space, with exact dimensions, with no unpleasant surprises for contractor or client alike when the work is installed. Heirloom also generates shop drawings and cut lists for contractors who prefer to build their own cabinetry etc.
Here is a list of what Heirloom offers.
- Design services of cabinetry and woodwork to contractors and homeowners, using 3D photo-rendered drawings.
- Full shop drawings and cut-lists generated if required, from finalized designs, so Heirloom cabinetry can be constructed by any woodworker.
- Design services to interior designers to create an entire room in photo-realistic detail to help clients understand the full design ideas.
- Interior and exterior architectural photography (all pictures on this website were taken by Tim Pollard, also a photographer)
Drawings start at around $50, while complex designs will be more, and may require a site visit, although most can be generated from measurements and photographs that can be e-mailed to Heirloom. The investment is well worth it, as everyone who has worked with these drawings (contractor, designer and client) is amazed at how much they help the design process and help the client make decisions.
